Hot Springs HOG November Chapter Meeting

Please read this email carefully since there are several items included:

 

1.  The November Chapter Meeting will be this Saturday, November 18 at the Barrett Event Center, 2231 E. Grand Avenue, beginning at 10AM. NOTE - there will be an event (vendors mall) at the Center at the same time. This Event will be in the BallbRoom, Bar Room and Hallway. Our meeting will be in the same back room as always. Please plan on parking around back, if you can, and enter through the outside double doors on the east side of the building. (P.S. - Lynn says to feel free to browse while you are there).

 

2.  You will receive your 2024 annual dues and membership form/waiver in the next few days. It can be brought to the Chapter Meeting this Saturday, November 18, mailed to Hot Springs HOG, PO Box 22472, Hot Springs, AR  71903. It can also be brought to the HOG Christmas Party on December 2. Be sure to date the form January 1, 2024 or after as these membership forms/waivers  are good for the calendar year. Also, if you pay by check, the check won't be deposited until after January 1, 2024, so expect it not to clear your account until January, 2024. Dues have remained the same since the founding of the Club, but for 2024, the Board proposed and a dues increase to $25 ws passed at the October meeting. This increase was to offset the cost of our new web-site now and in the future.

 

3.   Speaking of the Web-Site, Kevin Bagby (Web-Master) did a great job of getting the site up and running. The domain name is the same as always, "hotspringshog.com". If you need help connecting, email Kevin at "[email protected].

 

4.   The HOG Christmas Party will be Saturday December 2, at the Barrett Event Center (same place at our Chapter Meetings). Social Hour begins at 6PM with a Cash Bar, dinner will be served at 7PM. Menu is the same as last year (Prime Rib, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Salad, Roll, Green Beans and tea, water or coffee. "Buy-in" cost is the same as last year $20 per member, and $25 per non-member, to help establish a good head count for planning. 

 

Remember, as always, no alcoholic beverages may be brought into the venue (by Alcohol Beverage Control Rules) and if violated could put the Barrett Center Liquor License in jeopardy. If you would like a special adult  beverage, the Center will be happy to provide it.

 

We need volunteers to help set-up and decorate for the Christmas Party at 10AM on Saturday, December 2. Will take about 2 hours to accomplish. If you can spare a little time, please plan on helping. An Email notice will also be sent the week before.


 

Open Event: This event is open to Chapter members, National H.O.G. members and other guests as desired.

Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Hot Springs Chapter events. By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
